Frequently Asked Questions

What is coaching?
Coaching is a professional partnership that helps you gain clarity, build resilience, and move forward with purpose. It’s not therapy or consulting. It’s resource oriented and we focus on reflection, new perspectives, and translating insights into action.

How is resilience coaching different?
Resilience coaching emphasizes making changes sustainable. Depending on your situation and goals, we may include the nervous system and body in our work so that learning is not just intellectual but also embodied.

Who do you work with?
I coach leaders, professionals, and teams who want to navigate pressure with strength and authenticity.
I also offer coaching for individuals seeking clarity and growth in their personal lives.

How long is a session?
A standard session lasts 60 minutes. Packages are available for deeper and ongoing work.

What is a chemistry call?
It’s a one-time conversation to connect, ask questions, and see if coaching with me is the right fit, for you and for me.

Can I cancel or reschedule a session?
Yes, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment. Later cancellations will be charged in full.

Is coaching confidential?
Yes. All conversations are confidential, in line with the ICF Code of Ethics.

Do you offer coaching in German and English?
Yes. I coach fluently in both languages.

Where do sessions take place?
Online via video call, or in person in Berlin.

Can I do coaching if I am already in therapy?
Yes. Coaching and therapy can complement each other. Therapy often focuses on healing past wounds, while coaching is future-oriented and supports you in setting goals, building resilience, and taking action. If you are in therapy, we simply clarify together how coaching can add value without overlapping.

Is coaching suitable if I have mental health challenges?
Coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical treatment, or crisis support. If you are experiencing a mental health condition, please continue working with qualified professionals. Coaching can, however, be a valuable addition — especially for building resilience, clarifying values, and translating insights into everyday action.

Can I do coaching if I’ve experienced burnout?
Yes. Coaching after burnout can be highly supportive. Together, we focus on recovery, healthy boundaries, and developing strategies to sustain your energy and performance long term. The pace and methods are always adapted to your needs and capacity and there is no promise of healing.

Please note: Coaching is not psychotherapy or medical treatment. No promises of healing (Heilversprechen) are made. Clients remain responsible for their own health and decisions and coaching does not replace therapy.
